SoFine Foods B.V. (Hereinafter referred to as: “SoFine”,“we”,“us”), Located at Sperwerweg 9, 6374 AG Landgraaf, The Netherlands is responsible for processing personal data as shown in this Privacy and Cookie Statement (hereinafter referred to as: the “Privacy Statement”). 2. This Privacy Statement
In this Privacy Statement we want to inform you about the processing of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as: “Personal Data”) by SoFine. This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of your Personal Data by SoFine, when, for example, you complete our contact form, enter into an agreement with us or when you visit our website www.sofine.eu www.sofine.eu (hereinafter referred to as: “Website”).

3. Personal Data that we process
Personal Data means all information with which a natural person can be directly or indirectly identified. SoFine processes your Personal Data because you use our services and/or because you provide them yourself. Below you will see an overview of the Personal Data that we process:

In principle, you always have the choice to provide us with your Personal Data or not. However, we would like to point out that we cannot enter into an agreement with you without your Personal Data. Our customer service is also unable to answer some questions without first processing your Personal Data.
Our Website does not intend to collect Personal Data about website visitors under the age of 16. And we will not intentionally do so unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to monitor or be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this parental permission, please let us know in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will delete this information.
5. Security measures
SoFine has taken technical and organizational security measures to protect your Personal Data, particularly against loss, manipulation or unauthorized access. We improve and adapt our security measures regularly. In spite of that, we are obliged to point out that there are security risks associated with data transmission over the Internet, which means that we cannot guarantee complete protection against access by third parties. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact our customer service or send an email to email@example.com.
6. How long do we keep Personal Data?
SoFine does not store your Personal Data longer than necessary to achieve the above purposes and/or to comply with our legal obligations. We will keep your Personal Data for as long as, for example, the customer relationship lasts, the financial obligations have not yet been settled, and/or for as long as necessary in accordance with the (legally obligatory) retention periods.
The Website may contain links to third party websites. SoFine has no influence on these websites. We advise you to consult the privacy statement of each relevant website provider for more information about the purpose and scope of the Personal Data to be processed, your rights and the possible settings you can modify to protect your privacy. We are not responsible and/or liable for the content of these websites or the manner in which these website providers process your Personal Data.
8. Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties
SoFine will only share your Personal Data with third parties if we have received your express permission for this, or if sharing your Personal Data with third parties is necessary i) for the execution of the agreement; or ii) to comply with a legal obligation. If we do share your Personal Data with third parties, we will ensure that we have made (contractual) agreements with these third parties prior to sharing the Personal Data, so that the same level of security and confidentiality is maintained in regard to your Personal Data. As a data controller, SoFine remains responsible for these processing operations. The Data will not be used outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
9. Rechten van Betrokkenen
You have a range of rights under the applicable privacy legislation:
The right to access the Personal Data that we have collected from and/or about you;
The right to rectification or supplementation of your data, if it is factually incorrect or incomplete or irrelevant for the purpose for which it was collected;
The right to object to certain processing of your Personal Data;
Rights in regard to automated decision-making and profiling;
The right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority;
Under certain circumstances, the right to request a restriction on processing of your Personal Data;
Under certain circumstances, the right to delete any of your Personal Data that we have received from you and/or gained about you;
Under certain circumstances, the right to data portability. This means that you have the right to have your data transferred to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
In such a case, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request, to ensure that the request for access has been made by you. In this copy, black out your passport photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), the passport number and your Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.

SoFine strives to respond to your request, query, comment and/or complaint within four weeks. It is always possible that you might not be satisfied with the way we have handled your complaint or the way we process your Personal Data. SoFine installs essential, functional, analytical and tracking cookies.
Essential cookies: these are cookies that enable you to visit the Website and use certain functions on it. We do not need permission to install these cookies.
